2022 is leaving irrevocably, and everything related to it will leave with it, except for the aspirations of Yemenis and their hearts yearning for peace.This war has changed the destinies of thousands of civilians for the worse, and brought misery and destitution into their homes, only because they came across greedy leaders who did not care about them and their future.2023 should be a year of accountability for those who believe that they will continue their violations against Yemenis without being held accountable. The ugliness and length of this war cannot be attributed - in any way - except to the complacency of the international community and its negligence of its perpetrators.Otherwise, we place our hopes and optimism on the side of the largest segment of the Yemeni people, that the new year will be a year of peace. We join our voice with the voices of the Yemenis in reminding all concerned authorities and entities that a country as large and diverse as Yemen can only be governed through a state of order and law, a democratic state that prioritizes people’s rights, and that this fact will remain fresh in minds until it is fulfilled, however long it takes.Happy New Year to Everyone.
